JT Packard Provides UPS Services to a Variety of Companies
JT Packard, the nation's largest independent service provider for all brands of network-critical power equipment, has signed service agreements with Boston Financial, Peak 10, Waukesha Memorial Hospital, and WorldTravel BTI.
Under a multi-year contract, Boston Financial will receive 24/7 full service for it uninterruptible power supply (UPS) equipment and related peripherals. JT Packard was awarded the contract due to its ability to service all makes and models of UPS and HVAC equipment.
Boston Financial, established in 1973, is currently one of the most successful third-party providers of transfer agency and intermediary services in the mutual fund industry. The company provides transfer agency services for 145 fund companies, representing more than 6,650 funds, 26 million investors and $760 billion in assets. Boston Financial's transaction volume ranges from 700,000 to 1.2 million per month.
Peak 10 has contracted JT Packard to provide UPS services. Under the contract, JT Packard will perform preventative and full-service maintenance on UPS-related equipment and peripherals. Among the locations included in the contract are Jacksonville and Tampa, Florida; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Louisville, Kentucky.
Peak 10 is a data center operator and managed services provider that offers scalable, economical, and reliable solutions for hosting and managing complex information technology infrastructure. The company combines its data centers and portfolio of managed services with localized engineering. Peak 10 owns and operates five facilities.
Waukesha Memorial Hospital selected JT Packard to provide 24/7 full-service emergency coverage and preventative maintenance for mission-critical power equipment at multiple locations. The hospital previously had three contracts with three different vendors for its UPS needs. JT Packard was able to offer UPS service standardization and consolidation, in addition to saving the hospital money. Some Waukesha Memorial staff will be participating in JT Packard's first responder training courses to learn about the hospital's UPS equipment.
Other healthcare companies that currently have critical power service agreements with JT Packard include Aurora Health Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Kaiser Permanente, McKesson, and Wellmont Health Systems.
WorldTravel BTI has signed a multi-year service agreement with JT Packard to provide full-service and perform preventive maintenance on WorldTravel BTI's UPS systems. JT Packard anticipates additional partnership opportunities with WorldTravel.
WorldTravel BTI is one of the largest travel management firms in the U.S., offering customized cost-saving solutions for corporate programs. The company is a subsidiary of BCD Holdings N.V., a Dutch company, which focuses on the travel industry and financial services.
