The building houses an inter-disciplinary program of collaborative research and training designed to accelerate the application of new engineering technologies to clinical practice and research. Facilities include Distributed Diagnosis and Home Healthcare, Engineered Biomaterials, Molecular Bioengineering, Nanotechnology, Medical Imaging and Image Guided Therapy, and Computational Bioengineering. Laboratory support spaces include imaging suite, cold rooms, tissue culture rooms, and animal procedure rooms.
