 Master Plan Developed

Designed to be built over 15 years, the campus will include more than 1.4 million sf of space, including approximately 730,000 sf of academic, athletic, research, administrative, religious, and support facilities, and approximately 720,000 sf of student residential space to accommodate 80 percent of the student population. Plans also call for a pedestrian-focused town center that is linked to the academic campus, offering retail, multifamily housing, office space and hotel/conference facilities.

The plan takes advantage of Southern Catholic's beautiful setting by creating natural preservation areas along stream corridors, preserving stands of forested areas and providing opportunities for walkways and trails throughout campus, as well as a contemplative setting for a retreat center.

The school plans to open in September 2003, and will accommodate 150 students, with an ultimate enrollment reaching approximately 3,000 students at the conclusion of the campus construction.
