The majority of perimeter space is assigned to modular laboratory space and write-up. The central areas contain laboratory support space and specialist applications as well as tissue culture rooms, controlled temperature rooms, dark rooms and glass wash, other facilities including robotics, scanning light microscopy and a FACS suite. Since the research campaigns and personnel to occupy the building have not yet been finalized, the space has been planned generically with advice from on-site expertise.
