Michigan Technological University's Dow Environmental Sciences & Engineering Building, a 167,000-gsf facility, is the flagship building for the University's "Initiative for the Environment." master plan. The Building strengthens the University's leadership position as an environmental sciences and engineering teaching and research institution. The facility houses the biology, civil-environmental engineering and geology departments .The design scheme, materials and local ecosystem support the master plan by documenting the use of renewable and reusable materials, encouraging energy conservation and promoting the reduction, reuse and recycling of building waste.

University of Texas Medical Center/MD Anderson Cancer Center
Overview The University of Texas Medical Center added a 109,191-sf research facility to its existing 4-million sf of healthcare facilities. The new Research Building consolidates surgery medicine, experimental laboratory medicine, veterinary medicine and surgery components in one central facility. It integrates quality programs in patient care, education, cancer prevention and research.
