California Maritime Academy
The California Maritime Academy's Engineering Science Building is the first new facility built on the campus in 30 years. The lab building includes teaching laboratories, classrooms, offices and support spaces and contains a 24-hour computer lab as well as a 24-hour learning center. The computer lab and learning center are oriented to have a direct relationship with the library across a quad. These 24-hour facilities are separated from the laboratories by a double-height lobby. The lobby also serves as a gateway to the campus from the parking area on the hillside above.
