Mayo Clinic
The Mayo Clinic's new hospital in Phoenix opened its doors to patients in October 1998. This 440,000-sf acute medical/surgical facility provides care for local patients, those from throughout the 50 states and 80 foreign countries, as well as inpatient care to support the 66 medical and surgical specialties and programs of Mayo Clinic Scottsdale. The more than 250 physicians who provide care at the Scottsdale outpatient clinic will also provide inpatient care at Mayo Clinic Hospital.
