The $38.9-million expansion and renovation marks a renewal point in the Department's research and instructional facilities.

The University of Iowa's Health Sciences campus includes the Medical Education and Biomedical Facility, the flagship building for the College of Medicine. The facil-ity includes instructional space for students involved in medical and related clinical programs in addition to research laboratories and support facilities for research.
