Systems Integration and Customer Input Create Interactive Services
GlaxoSmithKline's Service Desk now handles about 8,000 fewer telephone calls per month while processing almost three times as many service orders, thanks to a new Corporate Engineering services management system (CESMS) that allows the 6,000 employees at the company's Research Triangle Park (RTP), N.C., facilities to make their work requests electronically.

Burlington County College
The $16-million Science and Teleconferencing Center's vision is to stimulate the economic development of Southern New Jersey with a program that includes heavy emphasis on the Center's availability for use by business. The Center will serve as an electronic hub for the program needs of a consortium of six New Jersey institutions.

Chesapeake Bay Foundation
The Philip Merrill Environmental Center is the first building in the country to receive a Platinum rating from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design certification program. As the headquarters for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, the Merrill Center is a 32,000-sf building that may be considered the nation's "greenest" office building.
