Sigma-Aldrich's Life Science and High Technology Center in St. Louis is scoring high marks for open design, abundant daylight, and researcher-friendly workstations. The cutting-edge 145,000-sf R&D facility contains lab space for 220 researchers, advanced research equipment, and a 300-seat state-of-the-art learning center. Since opening its doors in November 2001, the facility has received considerable praise for both form and function from the 100 or so researchers who currently occupy it.
