Rich Sliwoski and Lauren bailey profile Virginia Commonwealth University’s new STEM facility designed to foster the connections and collaborations essential to success and interdisciplinary work. They set out VCU’s outlook on STEM education trends and project priorities, and illustrate how those translated to space allocations for state-of-the-art hands-on learning, team-based classrooms, computer labs, and large- and small-capacity flexible classrooms, wet and dry labs.
