Export Control
Certain positions at Dominion may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.  Compliance with these export controls may result in Dominion limiting its consideration of certain applicants.

 The successful candidate will handle all materials at the Brunswick County Power Station.  Responsibilities include:

• Forklift operation to move 25-10,000 lb+ items
• Manually lifting materials up to 75 lbs (lifting and bending); this position is considered heavy physical labor to include no restrictions on walking, bending, standing, or reaching overhead
• Operating a hand held data cap to record, retrieve, and stock materials
• Banding materials as required for storage or shipment
• Load and unload trucks
• Write notifications if there are any discrepancies with the material; ensure proper documentation is included with incoming material
• Entering data into SAP and generating basic reporting using a computer
• Be available for overtime to cover the warehouse when required by the site
• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
• Good communication skills and a customer service orientation
• Working inside and outside in changing weather conditions which may include rain, extreme cold and extreme heat

The knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position include:

• Must have a high school diploma/GED
• Prior experience operating a forklift strongly preferred
• Knowledge of SAP and basic computer experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to manually lift up to 75 pounds required
• Overtime availability required
• Valid driver’s license required
