Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager manages all aspects of new lab construction and lab renovation projects. S/he prepares budget estimates and reports, prepares project contracts for design and construction teams, oversees outside design professionals and contractor selection including preparation of Request for Proposals and bid tabs, oversees preparation of construction documents and manages the project team throughout both design and construction. The Senior Project Manager often manages multiple projects and provides oversight and coordination on projects managed by different project managers that are related in scope in terms of lab design construction and renovation.

This position requires a bachelor's degree in architecture, architectural engineering, engineering, or a field related to lab design and use. This position also requires 10 years or more of related experience which includes recent (within the past one to two years) relevant construction project management experience in the design and construction of research labs.
