JOB OVERVIEW
The successful hire applies skills as a seasoned, experienced data / information management professional with full understanding of industry practices and campus / medical center / OP and department methodologies, policies and procedures to resolve complex and wide ranging issues where analyses of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Demonstrates competency in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. This position in Space Analytics team will assist and perform as: (1) Data Systems personnel supporting the maintenance of the UCSF Campus Space Management System - Archibus; (2) Set up and establish all supporting standards, processes, and policies to ensure data accuracy in UCSF’s Campus Space Management System; (3) Reporting and analytics based on current space inventory; (4) Field investigations and walkthroughs conducted at building and room levels; (5) Managing system access and training the users; (6) Engagement at multiple committees around space system for on-going product enhancements

CAMPUS PLANNING
Campus Planning provides professional planning services that guide the physical development of the campus and assists in strategic development of buildings and space to support UCSF’s mission of research, teaching, health care and public service

The Space Analytics team is responsible for data management of almost 10 million square feet of University space. We maintain the space database of record at UCSF utilizing Archibus application V23.1. Current work experience in Archibus is required for this position.

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design or Information Management Systems and / or equivalent experience / training. Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in Space Data Collection and management; or an equivalent of combination of education and experience
•Ability to prepare data models unassisted. Knowledge relating to the design of processes and IWMS softwares used in the industry
•Familiarity with data model patterns in one or more common business or academic domains. Advanced skills and methodologies associated with process and software design, modification and implementation
•Familiarity with logical data design and data mapping or data conversion.
•Familiarity with data quality and governance issues and requirements. Advanced knowledge of data management systems, practices and standards. Experience using Archibus v 18 or higher is required.
•Ability to represent relevant information in abstract models.
•Thorough knowledge of data management systems, practices and standards. Advanced skills and methodologies associated with process and software design, modification and implementation
•Thorough knowledge of relevant rules and regulations.
•Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated service orientation skills.
•Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
•Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Familarity with GIS/ArcGIS/REVIT is prefered
•Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.
•Strong organizational skills.
•Strong analytical and design skills, including the ability to abstract information requirements from real-world processes to understand information flows in computer systems. Proficiency in architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design (ability to work in different AutoCAD versions)
•Ability to represent relevant information in abstract models. Critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
