Huntsman Cancer Institute’s New Research Wing Nears Completion

The University of Utah is engaged in a $117 million expansion of the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City. The 242,000-sf Primary Children's and Families' Cancer Research Center will provide biomedical laboratories, space for clinical trials, administrative offices, and a vivarium. The six-story facility was designed by Architectural Nexus with Jacobsen Construction as general contractor. Work began on the project in June 2014 and completion is expected in  May of 2017.
