The Ohio State University is planning to construct the $237.5 million Interdisciplinary Research Facility in Columbus. Located in the West Campus innovation district, the five-story building will accommodate biomedical, life sciences, engineering, and environmental science research programs. Designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli and Moody Nolan, the 305,000-sf project will provide wet labs, computational labs, core labs, a vivarium, and a variety of support spaces. The OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology will occupy two floors of the structure, and a 29,000-sf plaza will offer an inviting venue for collaboration and outdoor events.
