Director of Academic Space Planning

Ross Johnson is a higher education administrator and architect with over 20 years of facility planning, space planning, space management, design, and construction experience. At The University of Texas at Austin, as part of the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, he oversees a staff of two who provide management and oversight for academic planning, design, and construction initiatives ranging from small renovations to major capital projects. The Academic Space Planning and Management department also manages the assignment and reporting of 685 UT owned buildings across the state which equates to over 25 million square feet of University space and includes 8 million square feet of academic space.
