Professor of Chemistry

Vic is currently Professor of Chemistry at Ursinus College, a small residential liberal arts college located 25 miles west of Philadelphia.  The 170 acre campus, home to about 1600 students is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year.  Vic has been a member of the faculty for 38 years teaching mostly organic chemistry lecture and laboratory.  He served as the faculty shepherd and point person during the programming, design, and construction of the Innovation and Discovery (IDC) center that you will hear about today.  He had previous experience working on the addition and renovation of Pfahler Hall, a 1930’s science building housing the Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science, and Physics Departments.  Vic also served as a science facilities consultant for Project Kaleidoscope.  His formal academic training is in organic chemistry having obtained an undergraduate degree at Manhattan College and his doctorate at Princeton University.
