Michael Lauber has 40 years of experience in the planning and design of teaching and research facilities for higher education. His credentials combine extensive experience with a long-standing interest in the relationship between pedagogy and facility design. He has planned and designed science and engineering facilities for University of Maine, Rice University, Iowa State University, Michigan State University, Rowan University, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, University of Kentucky, University of Maryland Baltimore, University of Mississippi, University of Vermont, Ursinus College, and Wellesley College—among many others.

Michael is a frequent presenter to professional and non-profit organizations dedicated to the advancement of education and research facilities, including Tradeline and the Society for College and University Planning. Michael holds a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University.
