Thomas McClellan Haskell, AIA, LEED AP
Architect & Senior Project Manager

After 37 years in private practice, Thomas joined the University of Connecticut as an architect and Senior Project Manager for Design in 2013. Since then, he has managed projects for a new cognitive fMRI facility, a reconstructed building for the Department of Math, a Main Accumulation Area building for regulated campus waste, a new Production Facility and a renovated Administration building for the School of Fine Arts and the reconstruction of the Gant Science Complex. He is a member of the UConn Public Art Committee.

A registered architect since 1982, Thomas served as President of AIA Connecticut in 2010. He stepped down as President of the Connecticut Architecture Foundation (CAF)after four years of service from 2013-2016; he currently serves as Chair of the CAF Development Committee.
