Speaker Profile: Robert D. Halvorson
Colonel Bob Halvorson's career in the United States Army has spanned 27 years and he has been an operational and strategic planner for the last 17. He has been responsible for building highly successful teams to solve volatile, uncertain, chaotic and ambiguous problems across the globe in some of the most inhospitable environments. He has led small teams of 12 and has commanded large teams of up to 5,000. He holds 3 masters degrees (because he has commitment issues): a MS in Business and Organizational Change, a MS in Operational Design, and a MS in Strategy and Policy Implementation. Most recently, he is the project manager for a $150 million facility to replace the United States Army War College's (USAWC) main instructional building. His memoir, tentatively titled, "Moving the Mountain to Muhammed While Dodging Flaming Chainsaws," should be a page turner, if the authorities allow it to be published.
