Wendy has been responsible for space management and space planning at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory for the past four years; in this role she is responsible for near-term space assignments, long-term forecasts of space needs, and everything in between for APL's 3.25 million square foot campus in Laurel, Maryland. She works closely with end users, facilities staff, financial planners, and Lab management to develop and execute space strategies supporting diverse and ever-changing requirements. She is currently wrapping up space assignments for 200,000 square feet of internal space moves as well as planning for two new lab/office buildings.
Wendy first joined APL eleven years ago as a facilities architect and project manager. She previously worked at SmithGroup in Washington DC, on a variety of institutional and government projects. She holds a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Masters of Architecture from Syracuse University.
