Michael Stroud has over 20 years of professional experience on higher education campus’ representing various departments including athletics, professional schools, research and facilities planning. As a natural enabler he has utilized problem solving, practical thinking, and fact-based decision making to navigate the ever-changing needs for university faculty, staff, students and guests. 

Stroud’s professional career includes positions at University of Central Florida, University of Virginia, Boston College and Harvard University. He has led teams of consultants and stakeholders to reimagine the use of existing spaces as well as identify demands for new buildings. His experience spans from office space renovations to new construction of hotel and conference centers. Most notably he led a strategic master facility plan for the Darden School of Business that included development and construction of an education and conference facility in the DC Metro area as well as design and development of a hotel and conference center on campus in Charlottesville, VA.
