Courtney Mankowski has over twenty years of experience in research, compliance, project management, and strategy development and implementation and recognizes the increasing complexities of scholarly research, its associated regulations, and competition for resources impacting universities and academic medical centers.
Within Ohio State University's Enterprise for Research, Innovation, and Knowledge, Courtney translates the institutional vision for research impact and growth into actionable plans supported by quality, dynamic infrastructure. As the Enterprise's Director of Research Infrastructure & Strategic Initiatives, Courtney also directs physical infrastructure project planning, construction, and activation efforts within a new portfolio of interdisciplinary research facilities, including the Pelotonia Research Center ($238M project; 305,000sf), Energy Advancement and Innovation Center ($48M project, 60,000sf), and Battery Cell Research and Demonstration Center ($22M project, 24,000sf).
