Mr. Bobadilla has over 25 years of extensive experience leading large and complex, real estate development, construction and business operations. He has worked in private industry and with some of the largest local government, k-12 and higher educational institutions in the country. During that time, he has held numerous senior leadership roles including Chief Facilities Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Business Officer. 

His background includes overseeing over $6 billion in real estate development and capital-building programs and annual operating budgets of over $240 million. His responsibilities have included overseeing real estate portfolios containing over 35 million square feet of facilities and teams of more than 7,000 employees. Areas of oversight have included real estate, capital planning, design, construction, sustainability, facilities maintenance, operating/capital budgets, contracting, fleet and logistics, food services, risk management, law enforcement/security services and environmental health & safety operations. 

Currently Mr. Bobadilla serves as the VP, Chief Facilities Management/Operations Officer for Miami Dade College (MDC), one of the largest colleges in the country. In this role he oversees the development, planning, design, construction, maintenance, and facility/emergency operations for eight campuses throughout South Florida. This work also includes implementation of a multi-million-dollar capital building program. He and his team have delivered over 100 major capital building projects over the last 6 years at the College. 

Mr. Bobadilla’s leadership and his team’s accomplishments have been recognized with awards and honors from various national and state organizations including Distinguished Service Award-CGCS, ASBO Facilities Masters Award, Facility Champion Award, and the Leadership in Action Award.

Mr. Bobadilla received a Juris Doctor degree from Florida A&M University-College of Law, Master of Business Administration from Webster University-School of Business and Technology, and a Bachelor-Organizational Management from Warner Southern College. 

His credentials include being a Licensed Attorney, Certified General Contractor, Licensed Realtor©, LEED AP BD+C, CEFP, and PMP.
