Core Facility Research Manager
Dr. Borgohain has extensive experience in establishing and managing research facilities within higher education institutions. He has played pivotal roles in developing research infrastructure at the University of Wyoming, Purdue University, and Virginia Tech. In his current role, he oversees the operations of two core facilities at Virginia Tech and collaborates with external industrial partners to develop and advance research initiatives. Dr. Borgohain is an expert in institutional project management, and his research centers on materials characterization, encompassing soft and hard materials, biomaterials, inorganic and carbon-based materials, and industrial chemicals.
