Jennifer Lodge, PhD, is Vice President for Research and Innovation at Duke University, where she leads strategic initiatives that advance research growth, strengthen infrastructure, and promote operational excellence across the institution’s research enterprise. With more than 20 years of academic leadership experience spanning three universities (Duke, Washington University, Saint Louis University), she brings deep expertise in research administration, faculty development, and institutional strategy. Dr. Lodge is the John Strohbehn University Distinguished Professor and maintains an active, externally funded research program focused on pathogenic fungi, contributing to advances in understanding fungal pathogenesis and host response. In addition to her institutional leadership, she has served as a member of the Joint Association Group (JAG) subject matter experts group, providing national-level expertise on Facilities and Administration (F&A) and contributed to the development of the Financial Accountability in Research (FAIR model) as an alternative to F&A.
