Sandie began her career 35 years ago in private practice, with an emphasis on laboratory planning and a focus on university and pharmaceutical clients. She spent 3 years at Pfizer's research and development facility in Groton, CT - a site which drives world-class innovation for the company's drug pipeline. Transitioning to the University of Connecticut, Sandie has been instrumental in the planning of campus STEM capital programs and subsequent development projects, including the Gant Complex, Science One for materials research, and the upcoming High-powered Engineering Laboratory Center.
