
Steven Chang is a registered architect with over 30 years of experience spanning corporate, institutional, and civic projects. He approaches architecture with a maker’s mindset, drawing on his background in carpentry and metalsmithing, which sparked his commitment to integrating design with craft. Steven has led complex projects in all capacities—planning, design, detailing, and project management—while fostering strong relationships with clients and construction teams. A longtime Visiting Professor at Pratt Institute’s Graduate Architecture and Urban Design Program, Steven has a unique ability to explain and enrich the experience of architecture for students and clients alike. He is committed to sustainable design and has guided numerous projects to successful LEED® certification. Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
