Investigen Relocates to Hercules

Published 4/30/2001

Investigen is relocating from tighter quarters at the former Alameda Naval Air Station to the North Shore Business Park in Hercules at the end of 2001. The East Bay biotech firm will occupy 8,000 sf of the planned 27,500-sf space in December. Providing lab and office space, the new facility features a non-academic design with large windows and views of San Francisco Bay. The facility will host biotech research related to Investigen's pathogen detection test, water testing, and detection of genetically modified viruses and organisms.
