New Patent and Trademark Office Campus Under Way

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s plans for a new five-building campus in Alexandria’s Carlyle development have been approved, and construction is slated to begin by year’s end. The 2.3 million-sf project will be developed by LCOR, with Turner Construction as the general contractor. The complex will accommodate 7,100 employees. Completion is expected early in 2005.
