Regional Firearms Training Center Completed in Otay Mesa

The 22,000-sf Regional Firearms Training Facility was recently completed in Otay Mesa for the Countyof San Diego. The center, completed by San Diego-based JVB Construction Management,  houses administrative offices, five classrooms, and a 350-seat auditorium. Departments utilizing the facility include the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Sheriff's Department, and the District Attorney's office. The project was designed by Milo Architectural Group of San Diego, with the participation of San Diego firms John C. Stevenson Architects and Kevin Rugee Architects.  

Nearby, a 14,000-sf simunitions facility for simulated training exercises is also under construction.
