The Kansas City Current broke ground in July of 2025 on a $52 million soccer complex in Riverside, Mo. Designed by HOK, this vibrant destination is being developed by Palmers Square Real Estate Management and constructed by Monarch Build. The Riverside Stadium will accommodate 2,000 fans and advance women’s athletics as the primary home of Kansas City Current II. This regional hub for elite sporting events will be enhanced by a FIFA-certified, heated grass pitch and world-class fan amenities. Sophisticated locker rooms and treatment environments will optimize player wellbeing.

The new Performance Center will create indoor space for speed and agility training, featuring premier facilities to elevate the athlete experience year-round, as well as player meeting rooms and a new lounge. Areas will be shared by all levels of the club, enabling engagement with the local community and a holistic development pathway for players. The addition of four grass youth soccer pitches will bring the Current’s training and headquarters footprint to 35,000 sf, with 12 grass and turf pitches in total.

Completion is expected by the end of 2025.
