Marshall University Opens School of Pharmacy

Marshall University opened Stephen J. Kopp Hall in September of 2019 in Huntington, Va. Designed by Perkins+Will and Edward Tucker Architects, the 49,500-sf building offers instructional spaces, administrative offices, pharmacological labs, and research facilities for the School of Pharmacy. Stephen J. Kopp Hall is strategically sited in a new health sciences precinct to support the growth of interdisciplinary education programs.

Cleveland State Community College Breaks Ground on Health and Science Center

Cleveland State Community College broke ground in late August of 2019 on the $25 million Health and Science Center in Cleveland, Tenn. Designed by BarberMcMurry Architects to promote interactive and experiential learning, the 53,617-sf facility will accommodate programs including nursing, paramedic and EMT training, and medical assisting.

University of Cincinnati Opens Health Sciences Building

The University of Cincinnati opened the $61 million Health Sciences Building in September of 2019. Designed by Perkins+Will and Moody Nolan, the 117,000-sf facility accommodates interprofessional education programs for the College of Allied Health Sciences. A curved glass curtainwall allows abundant natural light to illuminate the four-story structure, which offers flexible lecture halls, classrooms, and labs for interactive learning.

Texas A&M University Expands RELLIS Campus

Texas A&M University opened the $70 million headquarters of the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) in September of 2019 in Bryan. Located on the RELLIS campus, the 190,000-sf facility provides advanced engineering research facilities for the creation of new transportation technologies and strategies for the optimization of infrastructure, construction materials, driver safety, and automated vehicles.
