Intel To Renovate Hudson Office
Intel has awarded Braintree-based Integrated Builders a $3 million, 80,000-sf office renovation contract in Hudson.
Iomega Eyes SoCal For Relocation
Iomega Corp. of Utah is considering locations in Southern California for relocation of its headquarters. The high capacity diskette, drive, and data storage maker is favoring Orange County sites over San Diego at present, due to the grouping of data storage companies in the area and a large labor pool. In addition to relocating some of the 500 employees currently housed at the firm's headquarters near Salt Lake City, Iomega hopes to draw new staff that were previously deterred by location. Some Utah facilities will be retained in the move.
AOL Expands in Dulles
AOL is planning a 400,000-sf expansion on its 100-acre Loudon County campus in Dulles, Virginia.
VeriSign Consolidates Northern Virginia Offices
VeriSign, an Internet services company, plans to consolidate eight Northern Virginia offices at Waterview I, a 405,000-sf office building under construction in Herndon designed to accommodate 1,600 employees. Tishman Speyer Properties is developing the project, which is scheduled for completion in October 2001. VeriSign has an option on two as-yet-unbuilt structures—Waterview II and Waterview III—which will total 450,000 sf.
