Since 2011, Cam Ewart has been the Director of Operations for the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization, a vaccine research hub located at the University of Saskatchewan, and serves as a member of their Senior Management team. His primary role is the oversight of the Interactional Vaccine Centre, a 180,000 sq.ft. BSL-3Ag vaccine development and testing facility. Cam served as the Development Manager during the facility’s design and Project Manager during its construction before taking the role to oversee its operations. Prior to joining VIDO, he was the Manager of Project Development for the Facilities Management Division at the University. Cam has been involved in the design and construction of over $750 million dollars of new scientific and high technology facilities over his 40 year career in the building sector.
