Peter Stone, PhD
Director, Texas Robotics | Truchard Foundation Chair in Computer Science
Peter Stone is Director of Texas Robotics and the Truchard Foundation Chair of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to his Departmental Chair responsibilities, Peter is a distinguished teaching professor of Computer Science, and a researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence focusing on machine learning and robotics. He earned his doctorate in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and then served as a member of the technical staff at AT&T labs for three years before joining the faculty at UT-Austin in 2002.
