Jason Tearle, PhD
Biorisk Technical Lead
Jason Tearle has a PhD in Veterinary Virology with extensive experience working in, and managing high containment large animal facilities. More recently, he has been the Technical Biosafety Lead at The Pirbright Institute providing specialist advice into matters relating to biosafety and decontamination in numerous new builds and refurbishments from BSL-2 to BSL-3Ag both in vivo and vitro. In addition, he has presented at international biosafety conferences and published papers in Applied Biosafety (the peer-reviewed journal of ABSA) on fumigation and facility design and decontamination.
