Cookeville Regional Medical Center Constructs Patient Tower
Cookeville Regional Medical Center is constructing an $80 million, 228,000-sf patient tower in Cookeville, Tenn. The six-story north tower is slated for completion in October of 2008 with a grand opening slated for early 2009. The project began construction in fall of 2006. The project includes a two-story atrium lobby and two entrances. The second floor will house a cancer center featuring a TomoTherapy unit, a new technology for radiation treatment of cancerous tumors.
