Published 11/6/2000

Concordia University recently broke ground on the Walter and Maxine Christopher Center for Learning and Leadership, a 83,000-sf three-story structure designed by Holabird & Root of Chicago. The center will provide a setting for modeling ideal teaching environments and promoting the highest standards of quality care for young children. The structure’s first floor will house children’s classrooms, a physical activity room, and an administrative area; a resource center, lecture hall, and classrooms on the second floor; and offices and support spaces on the third floor. Construction completion for the Learning Center is scheduled for August 2002.
