Queen of the Valley Hospital Uses BIM to Build Acute Care Facility

Queen of the Valley Hospital is building a three-story, 72,000-sf acute care addition in Napa, Calif.  Wright Contracting of Santa Rosa is using BIM (Building Information Modeling) to construct the $65 million facility. Designed by CO Architects, the addition will house surgical suites and an intensive care unit. Occupancy is expected in 2013. LEED Gold sustainable design certification will be sought for the project. Queen of the Valley Hospital is affiliated with St. Joseph Health System.
