Tepper Sports & Entertainment is planning to renovate the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., to elevate the fan experience. Designed by HOK, the modernized home for the Carolina Panthers will accommodate new seating in the bowl and upgraded video and technology capabilities, including a state-of-the-art sound system. Revised concourses and social areas will be complemented by a new patio on the uppermost tier that provides views of the field and skyline. The $800 million development will offer improved accessibility and stadium safety measures, as well as diversified concessions selections.
Enhancements to the exterior and the surrounding neighborhood will create a vibrant destination for visitors and residents. A reimagined South Lawn Pavilion zone will function as both a community gathering area and an outdoor classroom. Updated building systems, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC infrastructure, will reduce overall environmental impact.
Created in partnership with the City of Charlotte, the transformative project will be built by a joint venture of Clark Construction Group and D.A. Everett Construction Group, working in association with owner’s representative CAA Icon. Construction is slated to begin in 2026. In addition to the main stadium renovations, an indoor field house will be built nearby on the team’s nine-acre practice field by local firms Rodgers Builders and R.J. Leeper Construction.
