This session illustrates how the Los Angeles Community College District leverages AI and GIS technology to maximize productivity of its vast space resources. Presenters demonstrate the integration off digital ecosystems — combining Building Information Modeling (BIM), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and AI analytics to efficiently manages over 5,000 buildings and 90 million square feet across nine colleges. They examine the tools that enable dynamic space inventory, provide real-time data access, and assist in refining space standards at both system and facility levels. They illustrate the kind of AI-driven insights now empowering LACCD to identify new opportunities, streamline asset management, enhance scheduling, and ensure that facilities advance student success and community impact.
