The University of Connecticut recently opened the Center for HIV Intervention and Prevention in Storrs, Conn. The 10,000-sf research and service facility for HIV Risk Behavior and Health Behavior Change was planned and designed by Miller Dyer Spears of Boston on a fast-track basis, creating a new home for the growing program. Research suites group multidisciplinary faculty, students, research, and computer data analysis staff in mixed clusters, with core library, tech support, and lounge space to foster casual dialogue. The complex occupies a new ground floor addition to the Ryan Refectory Building in the Alumni Quadrangle.
