St. Jude Research Hospital Constructs Memphis Research Tower

St. Jude Research Hospital is expanding its Memphis campus with the construction of the $114-million Integrated Patient Care and Research Building (IPCRB). Slated for completion in early 2007, the six-story, 300,000-sf building will house inpatient space, research laboratories, diagnostic imaging, and radiation oncology treatment facilities. The second floor will be dedicated to inpatient care with research and office space on the remaining floors. The project team includes Detroit-based SmithGroup as architect and Skanska USA of Parsippany, N.J., as construction manager.
