Published 4/8/2017

Bentley University opened the renovated Jennison Hall in March of 2017 in Waltham, Mass. Designed by ARC/Architectural Resources Cambridge, the $22.5 million project comprises 85,000 sf of space accommodating classrooms, labs, offices, and interaction areas. Supporting the delivery of progressive pedagogies, the collaborative facility features multidisciplinary teaching and research labs for biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science, as well as technology-rich classrooms, collaboratories, a research and instrumentation lab, and a dry research studio. The use of glass walls and abundant natural light creates an optimally transparent environment with science on display. The sustainably designed project features occupancy sensors, LED lighting, and an energy recovery system for laboratory ventilation.
