Hackensack Meridian Health - Patient Pavilion Expansion

Hackensack Meridian Health will break ground in September of 2019 on a $714 million inpatient pavilion at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. Providing 438,000 assignable square feet, the 530,000-gsf facility will feature three floors of private inpatient rooms, a 50-bed intensive care unit, and 24 operating rooms, including an intraoperative MRI. Offering 100 medical-surgical beds, the patient-centric structure will house a 50-bed orthopedic institute and a new sterile processing department. The project team includes RSC Architects and EYP Architecture & Engineering with Stantec as project manager and owner's representative. A joint venture of W.M. Blanchard and Turner Construction will provide construction management services. Occupancy is expected in 2022.
