The University of Lincoln will begin construction in fall of 2019 on the £21 million Lincoln Medical School in the United Kingdom. Perfect Circle JV, a consortium that includes Pick Everard, Gleeds, and AECOM, is providing design services, project and cost management, and sustainability consultancy for the five-story facility, which will offer technology-rich suites for clinical and prosection anatomy, mock consultation and simulation training rooms, lecture halls, teaching labs, and a science library. BAM Construction is the general contractor for the project. BREAM Excellent sustainable design certification will be sought for the medical school, which will feature both a living wall and a solar wall. Completion is expected in spring of 2021.
