e4H Architecture Offers Webinar on Leveraging Sustainable Design at the Center of Excellence for Autism and Developmental Disorders

e4H Architecture is offering a webinar on August 21, 2020 at 12:00 PM EST. "Leveraging Sustainable Design at the Center of Excellence for Autism and Developmental Disorders" will explore this transformative 28,000-sf facility in South Portland, Maine.  

Attendees will hear from Matthew Siegel MD, Vice President of Medical Affairs for the Developmental Disorders Service of Maine Behavioral Healthcare, about his vision to bring together outpatient treatment, clinical research, and provider training to meet the needs of this population across their lifespan under one roof. E4H senior associate, Jon Boyd, AIA, will discuss the nature-inspired, evidence based design driven research used to create this unique environment for children and adults with development disorders. Heather Walters of Thornton Tomasetti will present their vision for incorporating strategies for natural light, wind, water, and vegetation to create a building that is both efficient and equitable. This panel will be moderated by Nan Schramm, LEED GA, EDAC, Fitwel Ambassador, and associate partner at E4H.
