Sulzer Mitroflow Plans Cleanroom

Sulzer Mitroflow Corp. has selected KTEC Cleanroom Systems of Round Rock, Texas to design, fabricate, and install a 10,000-sf cleanroom in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Replacing an existing operation in Richmond, B.C., the $1.7-million facility will act as a manufacturing plant for artificial heart valves.

Nassda Corp., a purveyor of full-chip circuit verification software for complex nanometer semiconductors, has relocated its headquarters to Santa Clara, Calif. The new 23,000-sf location more than doubles the size of Nassda previous space, also in Santa Clara.

Christian Hospital Northwest Plans Emergency and Outpatient Center

Christian Hospital Northwest, part of St. Louis-based BJC Healthcare, is planning to construct a $16.8-million emergency care and outpatient diagnostic center in St. Louis. Part of a complete campus renovation, the 40,000-sf facility will house a 24-hour emergency department, a breathing center, a sleep disorders center, radiology, labs, primary care physician offices, and a community education and resource center. The ability to double in size to meet rising demand will be built into the design.
